BRIAN AUSTEN HILLES September 9, 1953 - August 26, 2008 Born at Lake of the Woods hospital in 1953, Brian was raised and went to school in Kenora, ON. He moved to Winnipeg in 1974 and worked for many years at Tara Ford on Pembina Hwy. Brian loved the outdoors and spent the last 22 years at their cottage in Lac Du Bonnet. His favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, quadding, his hot tub and most of all snowmobiling. Brian loved spending time with family and friends around a bonfire with a few MGDs and OVs. He spent many hours helping friends and tinkering with motors. He loved spending his time and sharing his love of the outdoors with his grandkids. Brian was predeceased by his dad (Austin), daughter (Amanda) and (Bear). He leaves to mourn his loving wife Pam, son Michael (Loralie), grandkids Keanna and Ashton, mother Hazel, brother Robert (Pearl), sister Cathi (Robert), in-laws Dawn, Shawn, Miles, Greg, Tom, nieces and nephews and many other close family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday September 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian's name to Pinawa Hospital Cancer Care. Brian's motto whoever has the most toys wins!!
